We're a dedicated team who operates as wholesalers, transporters, suppliers and marketers of liquid petroleum gases, crude oil, heavy fuel oil, and refined fuel and bio-fuel products. We're committed to delivering the energy products and services our customers need, when and where they need them.
Elbow River Marketing began in Calgary in 1984 with just a handful of staff and one railcar to transport butane in Canada. Over the last 40 years, we’ve grown to buy, sell and safely move fuels by rail, truck, marine and pipe in North America.
Crude, Asphalt & Fuel Oils
Over the last 40 years, we’ve developed a broad network of North American refiners, blenders, producers and traders to make it easy, efficient and cost-effective to buy, sell and transport light crudes, heavy raw bitumen, asphalt and fuel oils across Canada and the USA.
Our large fleet of railcars and our strong relationships with fuel refiners and carriers across North America offers our customers competitive pricing and security of supply. This is our supply advantage.
Refined Products
Our expertise in logistics makes us the provider of choice in refined fuel trading and marketing in North America. We market ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD), bio-diesel, gasoline, and ethanol throughout Canada and the US by pipeline, railcar, and truck.
Liquid Petroleum Gases
Our LPG team has been marketing liquid petroleum gases (LPG) across North America, on a wholesale basis for more than 40 years. We coordinate cost-effective transportation of LPGs including propane, condensates, various butanes, and olefinic products.
Carbon Compliance
Our team of experts can develop solutions for you to ensure you meet the necessary requirements in carbon markets, low carbon fuel standards, and renewable fuel obligations, globally.
You can also count on us for support on carbon offsets and allowances, Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs), and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) credits.
